A network topology is a physical layout of computers, servers, routers and other components on a Computer network. There are several popular typologies used in existing networks some of them are listed here:

  • Bus Topology: if there is a break in the network cable, the entire system will go down. This system uses one cable as a main trunk to connect all of the network system together.
  • Star Topology: In star topology, all computers are connected via one central hub or switch.
  • Mesh Topology
  • Wireless Topology
  • Ring Topology

A proper network architecture or topology is very critical in smooth functioning of a Computer Network. For more information about Network Cabling, please contact us.
