This is how a proper and neat cabling termination is one done.
- Proper labeling should be done
- Label both ends the same, and ensure there are no duplicates
- make sure no loose cables are hanging
- Tie the cables via Velcro or tie strings
- Make sure the cables are neatly cut and terminated
- Power down one side of the rack, network on the other
- Keep power cables as far from Network cables as possible
- Color code the cables
